Freelance Photographers Needed in an industry that most photographers are not even aware of. It is an industry where the only tools you are required to have are a 2 mega-pixel camera or higher, and a computer with internet access. This industry is localized to your specific area and there is a severe shortage of people that are doing this, so there is very little competition. The best part of this industry is the freedom to do what you already love to do (taking pictures), and you will be paid anywhere from $25 to $100 per "photography job"! The actual "job" entails the photo(s) that have been taken, and filling out an accompanying report, most of which are online. The report would take a beginner about 15 minutes to fill out. What the heck kind of industry is this? Allow me to explain.

There are 100+ national companies that provide specific services to lending, leasing and insurance companies nationwide. These companies are trying to reach local markets, and the way they can do this most effectively is to have local "reps", in the field so to speak, taking photos and filling out short reports for them. It is not cost-effective for these companies to hire their own field reps for every single city and town in the United States, so, these institutions sub-contract this work out to freelance reps (such as yourself) all over the country. Most financing, insurance policies, mortgages, leases are now completed online, or through 1-800 telephone numbers, so in turn, the need for these institutions to maintain offices and high-salaried company reps locally is almost completely obsolete. This is where you come in. You would represent 100+ national companies who need not only "pre-sell" information, but continuously updated "property condition" photos and reports as well.

If you are familiar with what a real-estate property scout or "bird-dog" is, this is essentially what you would be doing, the only difference is you wouldn't be scouting for strictly real estate. There is much less work involved in this, as there would be in actual property-scouting. This is one of the few business where freelance photographers are "needed", instead of  "wanted", big difference.

There have been freelance photographers needed in this industry for at least 2 years now. Anyone, over 18 can do this, literally. there is no cold calling, solicitation, or door-to-door sales whatsoever. No additionally expensive photography equipment or software needed. You can work right from the same place you are reading this blog.

These companies are actively seeking reps in every zip code of the United States. You can cover as many zip codes and work for as many different companies as you can responsibly handle. The companies you would be working for are sub-contracted from the actual lending, leasing and insurance institutions to gather the photos and reports that they (the institutions) require. The more zip codes they can cover, the more valuable the institutions are to their clients.

There are no educational or work history requirements. However, you must be at least 18 years old and possess basic computer and photographic skills (meaning taking snapshots per instructions). You will need an inexpensive digital camera with at least 2 mega-pixels of resolution. You also need to know how to upload photos from a digital camera to your PC and attach the photos to an e-mail. Your e-mails, with attached photos, will be e-mailed to the companies that request them. Your camera should have flash on it, just because you may not always get ideal lighting on some assignments. Unfortunately, they don't allow you to use your cell phone's camera, even though it may be higher than 2 megapixels, it has something to do with the companies' ability to re-size or crop a photo from a mobile phone. The last three items you will need are a computer with an internet connection, a tape measure and a clipboard. That's it!

Look at your surrounding area! Count all of the businesses, cars, boats, planes, RV's, buildings, homes, heavy equipment etc. that are financed, leased and insured through national companies. There could never be enough reps out there to meet that demand, at any given time, so you will ALWAYS have work, if that's what you want to call this! An idea of how much you can make doing this: On the low-end, some assignments are worth $25, on the high-end $100. If you do one assignment a day, on the low-end you've made an extra $125 a week, or $500 a week. Monthly, this adds up to an extra $500 - $2000 a month. One assignment a day, excluding weekends. Keep in mind some people are doing 5-10 assignments a day!
They are obviously full-time. If you have an hourly or salary based job now, do you realize if you did 10 assignments a day, you could QUIT! Think you couldn't, do the math again. I guarantee your not making as much as the higher-end assignments pay out. If you are, you can stop reading this blog now, because it wouldn't make a difference either way. If you have a passion for photography, your passion is a bonus. Did you even know you could make this much money taking pictures? I know the economy is tanked, and job security is obsolete, and job growth is stagnant. But opportunities are out there, sometimes it's just a question of knowing where to look! If you are the type that does for others before yourself. I commend you, to me, that is still a very admirable trait. Shows character. But today, do something for you. You can cater to your passion and change your lifestyle at the same time. Consider this the billboard, Freelance Photographers Needed

The billboard that may give you the freedom you've been longing for, and the income that will drastically change your life! Are you in?
